Hi,

Ive just bought an auto acoustics stealth shelf off ebay, and have some pioneer 6x9s that I had in my old car. Wondering if I can run them off my Beta headunit? Ive also got the slot CD player and would like to keep all of that if possible. I know getting an aftermarket HU will be better, but for now thats not really an option, cos I cant afford one. Also I like the whole oem look inside. Do I need to try and find a cheap Gamma? Or have I just bought something Ill have to wait to use?

Thanks

The Beta only supports 2 speakers. So unless you get an adaptor for the Head unit for outputs and attach an amp to power the 6x9's. This is of course if your wanting to use your front speakers at the same time as your 6x9's.

As a general rule, most 6x9's run far better off an amp, as they have relatively low sensitivity. There are exceptions, but we don't all have Focal 6x9's now, do we? :P

yeah, dont think 6x9s can be powered by a 2x20W beta unit.
even if it does, it will sound naff :)
