GT inlet manifold

I'm having trouble removing the fuel rail and inlet manifold off a spare GT.
Without a picture its hard to tell you what I've already done but if someone could maybe explain in newbie mechanic terms that would be much appreciated. Thanks everyone!

to remove the inlet manifold from a gt you need to:

1) remove the throttlebody elbow and pipe that goes from the throttlebody elbow to the airflow meter. position all this out of the way.

2) remove the throttlebody, requires 5mm allen key, you may need an extension as well as the bolts are very tight.

3) remove the fuel rail. requires the 5mm allen key again (I think, might be the 6mm one for these) 2 screws holding this on. Once you have removed these screws you should be able to just pull the fuel rail and injectors out of the inlet manifold. Unplug the idle stabilisation valve as well (2 wires going underneath the inlet manifold)

4) remove the inlet manifold. 8 scews total. 4 require a 6mm allen key and the other 4 require a 13mm spanner/socket.

some inlet manifolds have a bracket at the back holding them to the engine as well, but none of my gt's have had this. if it is there, itll be on the side nearest the throttle cable, but underneath the manifold right at the back.

I've already removed the throttlebody, Its the fuel rail i'm having problems with. I've managed to remove the the allen key bolts but the injectors are stuck in the manifold if that makes sense. It sounds like i've missed two bolts in the inlet manifold anyway.
New day new start tommorow so i'll give it another go!
Thanks

Easiest way to remove it is take the rail off with the manifold. just remove the fuel supply and return pipes and disconnect the rail plug, isv plug and hose and purge valve pipe.

Yeah, I was pondering trying to remove the whole lot at once which I will try if I have no luck removing the injectors. Any idea why they are so stubborn to remove?
Haynes manual tells me they just 'gently lift off' which is frustrating to say the least!
Thanks for the help!

as long as you have removed the two bolts holding the fuel rail on then the injectors are just held in with rubber seals. Its more a case of prizing rather than gently lifting. They can be very tough sometimes, I had an injector come out of the fuel rail once rather than the injector come out of the manifold.

I did this only last week - and it is fairly stubborn!!

Be careful what you do - but I ended up pulling one end, then the other - just until the injectors disengage.

Ideally you want to apply even force along the rail - but they were happily stuck in on mine!!

So, just give it a bit of stick!!
