Code Entry instructions for vw gamma stereo

I have just purchased a vw gamma stereo to replace the beta stereo in my vw polo. I would be grateful if some can explain the the key combination I should enter to get the stereo working. I was supplied with the code for the stereo.

For the first digit pres button 1. For digit 2 press button 2. For digit 3 press button 3. for digit 4 press button 4. However i can't remember for the life of me what button you press next to set it. Keep trying buttons till one of them does it. Unless of course someone else can tell us.

Do yoy have a pic of the stereo set? How much did it cost?
