y connect them up? theres only 1 day a year that we have fog.......(ie to use them legally
)
brightens up thefront end... well cool!

thats what i was thinking!!! but i like driving fogs and dips at dusk time
im not in any hurry to get the connected as i know its a bit of a job, but its nice to know i have all the parts and when i am bored one afternoon i will do it

Shame no-one else does, especially other road users. Shouldn't you be driving a Saxo or a Corsa?

only at dusk when they dont dazzle other road users
i wudnt do it at night cos it does my nut in when u see bright lights coming toward you.

I have done same, fitted grill and lamps, waiting on price for loom and switch. Took it too my supplying dealer for a quote to fit for me, met with total apathy. Hey, you don't want my money fine.
p.s. if someone drives toward me with their fogs on, I just main beam 'em, (as long as there is no one behind them).

Sorry but any use of foglights with out a fog pisses a lot of people off. And i don't mean to cause any offence by saying this but they should only ever be used at fog. That's a road law i agree with, I hope anyone who drives with them on unnecessarily gets fined for it.
Again i'm not meaning to p*** any one off it just annoys me to see buggers driving with them on and no need.
On a positive note, I like that first pic you posted, very good shot. (and if you had intentions of using the fogs properly) I wouldn't bother wiring them up as i only ever used my fogs twice properly with in 2 years.

I completely agree. I've seen (mainly saxo drivers
) driving around with just sidelights and fogs in the dead of night!!
Foglights make the front look better and are useful when it's actually foggy but please don't use them otherwise.
As someone else has said, I also mainbeam anyone who comes towards me with fogs on. I drive quite long distances and any extra lights on the road are an annoyance and distraction, especially where I live where many of the roads aren't lit.
....again, the moving pic on the motorway is good

Well said SiBaDa, ive just done a 70 mile trip home and the amount of cars ive seen with fogs.......
Hell it isnt even dark - Whats the point!!!! Unless you drive a saxo and want everyone to know your 17 and couldnt beat an old lady with her zimmer frame off the lights
