I'm not too sure if this is meant to be like this, but on my Golf it isn't...

When I turn the heaters up and open the vents in the dash they constantly blow cold.. the permantly open vents above them blow hot as does the screen and footwells, but not the adjustable ones...

Is it meant to be like this, or has something come adrift behind the dash... I'd hate to take my dash apart only to find that this is the way is was designed to work...

They are supposed to blow cold air only. It's the way they are designed, nothing wrong there.

bugger.. I was hoping there was something wrong!! In the colder weather it is really annoying not being able to have them blow hot!
