Hi everyone,

I've posted up in the Car Care section regarding the new Flash home car wash as advertised on the TV. Link: here

The product in question:

I posted here in the Club House too to get a wider audience, as not everyone looks in the Car Care section of the forum

Anyone else used this? Opinions?

Don't see the point of it myself. Plus, I wouldn't trust a manufacturer of household detergents to enter the market understanding the intricacies of the interactions of wax and detergent.

I haven't yet found anything to beat the heavily-concentrated Zymol stuff you can get at Halfords. That, plus a bucket and a couple of sponges.

Deek.

i got one for my b/day the other day and i have to say it does exactly what it said it would do
i felt a bit silly waving what looks like a comedy water pistol about but it does work,
its the last 1 of the 3 stages that does the trick,
you wash the car as normal rinse with normal water then rinse again
the :) magic water :) does it stuff and your car dries completely water mark free
i aint sure i would buy one if they aint cheap tho

Went out and bought one today..................... Got home set it up.... Other half turned on the tap..... I got bloody soaked.... The seal on the input going from the hose into the gun had gone and it just spurted water in all directions from the bottom of the gun.......

Dried off..... packed it back in box and went back to Halfords to swap it.... Came back and used it no worries on my missus' Lexus IS200.....

I used a tank and a half of shampoo (but the car was obviously bigger than the Polo mentioned above) and it looked a treat after it had dried. Then Mer'd it (remind me NEVER NEVER to decide to polish a BIG black car EVER EVER again!!!!!).

Pictures of the finished results in members rides section.....

Must say better than paying a fiver a time at the jet wash.

Cheers

Dave.
