hello and welcome.

heres a taster of what u can get

http://www.cessories.net/catalog/index. ... e41eec7167

it really depends what kinda style ur after, some like full on "in your face" styling, with big spoilers etc.. while others such as the VW's votex one, which is more subtle...

hope this helps

Hi James,

For tints you need to PM "tinter" on this forum, and keep an eye out for any future tinting meets he's off to in your area. Tinter has done a great job with quite a few member's cars, including Josh (site admin). I'll be asking to have tints done by him as soon as my insurance policy allows it!

The general trend at the moment is to go for 35% tints on the sides and 50% on the rear window. 35% tinting looks good IMO and shouldn't get you in trouble with the boys in blue as they aren't overly dark and should let in the right amount of light :)

The law states your windows have to let in 75% of light through the front side windows (driver's and passenger's doors) and you can tint as dark as you want from the B pillar back (rear side windows and rear window). Front windscreen is not allowed to be tinted.

Hope this helps :)

Cheers

you can get tints from many companies, just check out yellow pages,
"tinter" prices are simliar to what ive paid, and ive got a top tip quality job. (no offence "tinter" btw).... ive got 45% fronts, and from the B pillar back, ive got 20%

35% tint is actually on the borderline, as when it goes on top of the original VW tint. ... VW use darker tints than other manufacturers thats what ive been told anyway....

ebay,

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... eName=WD1V

but ull need to keep loooking for a full kit, just wait till it crops up.... remember, some ppl sell the kit without the rear spoiler, so it all adds up... delivery, painting etc......

no bother at all,

my fogs were factory options, as well as color pack (color coded handles, mirrors, bump strips)
a few members on here have fitted their own fog lights, costs bout £40 for the lights, and the wiring is a bit more, IMO i think just the grilles and lights will do, as theres only like one or two days throughout the year that i use fogs.

emm.... i dont know what else you wish to know?

cheers.

sorry i mean what do i need for body kit. i have no idea. and how do i paint osmething? where your alloys from?

well obviously you need the body parts. front skirt, rear spoiler, rear skirt, side skirts,
the kit does come with like screws and brackets req, glue often is out of date, so ull need some bodywork glue.

my wheels are Kahn RSCs bought for £1500 with tyres, which is less than what Kahn's website advertise them for (£1880 with tyres.)

theres a bodykit for sale in the for sale section, the seller is "ceedubya"
hes selling the kit for around £300, without spoiler, and i dont know if the glue is outta date, need to ask him.

or you can go to VW, or wait around on ebay.....

hope this helps
