there was a turbo on ebay a few months back, it went for a fair price as its worth around £2k if i remember correctly.

think a NOS package would give u more power when u need it :)

Have you looked into the nos. How much would this roughly cost and how much bhp would you get.

i prosume nos will be the best route, some say you need a grade a* engine to do this though?!

like the fiesta zetec, clios etc you have to run the at low psi. so i think itll be very pointless. as itll be the same on a polo i think!

With the turbo you can get 200bhp but with ALOT of work, the kit alone is £2500 then you need to be bored out to a 1.7 and have low compression pistons. Then there is a big chance it may go pop!

Nos you can have a very reliable system, 50BHP on tap, and the GTi engine handles this with no probs. £1150 from JBS 8)

Josh had NOS fitted to his old Polo GTi - have a search through the old Polo GTi forum posts and you'll see there are a few threads about it - the search function at the top of teh page is excellent :)
