That helps a lot!!!!
How about just a few pointers on doing it with your eyes open - hidden screws clips etc

Hiya tempo..had a look in the diy section and i found a nice .pdf file on how to remove the 9n doorcards *sorry couldn't find one for the 6n*
Although they're slightly different maybe it will give you a bit of help as to what to look out for.

Hey tempo, i removed my door card the other day (mk4).
Start off by removing the window winder - to do this push the washer (the black bit inbetween the winder and the door) towards the top of the winder (or i could be the bottom). Pushing it like this undoes the clip that holds the winder to the axle thing.
Next, remove the hand rest/handle thing, do this by prying a flathead screwdriver underneath the bottom part of it (the black plastic bit), you should be able to find where the gap is. This simply pulls off, as its clip-on. Theres 2 screws down 2 holes behind the thing you just pulled off, remove these.
Next, simply pry the plastic off the metal around the edge of the trim, using a flathead screwdriver, starting from the bottom (with the door open, obviously). You should hear series of snaps, dont worry, this isnt anything snapping, just the plastic un-clipping.
As for the next bit... im not too sure. You should be able to pull the trim up like a hinge, from the bottom upwards.
Does anyone know how to remove the actual lever?
Anyways, I removed mine to knock out a dent in the door (rear left, 5dr) and i had enough space to do this without totally removing the trim.
Hope this is some help tempo!
