I'm guessing 2,5 - 3 inches. But I haven't measured it.

aww thats the same sort of height i was thinking of going with a new splitter. Do you have problems with speed bumps ?

2" at the most, poor thing is slammed, no real problems with bumps, just mudflaps scraping, bumpy irish roads are interesting though, lol

I have trouble getting out of my street every morning, it 'headbutts' the speedbump. Not nice, but it's doable... I have more trouble with driveshaft bumping (it's hitting the chassis).

surely ground clearance for something like a sump is more important !

saying that, im riding nice and high, so ignore me !!

Yea

Like alex said, the problem low is the damn driveshaft banging agaisnt the chassis under acceleration, if the tyre tramps a bit

also, the ARB rubs on the chassis too

but if you had a deep splitter, you could easily get it down to an inch of splitter clearance

That is low i dont think im gunna want to go that low but i think i will be getting a deep splitter though to make it look lower at the front.

my front splitter (vr6 type on mk4 lowered 50mm) is twated from stuff. went over a traffic calming roundabout you know the ones that are just basically painted on the road.just drove over the right hand side of it at about 30 and it pushed the left side into the road and crunch!
