Polo GTi 1.6 16v Remapping

Post by Josh_PoloGTi »

All

JBS Auto Designs are pleased to announce their Custom Code for the Polo GTi 1.6 16v Engine!

JBS advise that this remap should give between 12 and 15bhp extra, along with extra torque and much smoother drivability!

Please post in this thread if you would be interested in having this software installed!

You know this is the one you've been waiting for!!! 8)

That sounds sweet!! 8)

Lets say I get my car back from the bodyshop all in one piece, and I have to visit in September anyway to have a certain B&M kit fitted, then... I would be seriously interested! :D

12-15bhp extra sounds nice but its the extra torque and driveability that sound promising. £250 +VAT, that's, what... just a little under £300 if my saturday-night maths is working OK. Bargain. How much extra on a premium would I be looking at for an ECU re-map though? £60-80? Finally, how long will JBS want the car for?

Bottom line: 140bhp? Yes please! 8)

Nice one Josh (& the peeps at JBS)!

Cheers

Woo hoo, i'm interested. Would have to be after July though. I'm going on Hols with my mates so thats taking up all of my funds.

Definately would like more drivability and some more power.

He he, Chris you'll need the remap to counteract the drag from your "rack stylz" mods

That really sounds interesting...

I would surely be VERY curious how they manage to recode the SIMOS3 ECU with the Flash Eprom memory...

Never heard of it being done...

What interface is that again???

OBDII???

Something else???

Would sure like to hear from JBS giving some info on that...
