How much BHP bloody hell!

Where did you get them cams?? wouldn't mind some if they fit the polo engine? ( as the lup and polo engines are different )

Welcome by the way!!

Actually the engine fitted to the Polo and Lupo GTi is the same one AFAIK!

Hi Ross, welcome to UK-P!

The B&M is a worthwhile investment I understand, there is a stickied thread at the top of the forum which may give you a little more information - I've got one but its not fitted at the moment due to restrictions on my insurance (d'oh) so I have to wait a bit longer before getting JBS to fit it up!

i got cam's from TSR in Taurnton, Somerset. fitted them myself took around 6 hour's in total was a right nightmare in the end because the pulley's do not hav keyway's to locate the cam too (interferrance fit) alot of careful marking had to be done to get everything back in line again!

My cambelt tensioner shattered 2 week's ago and bent 8 exhaust valve's and 4 inlet valve's  had the head off last weekend and got a local chap to polish and port it for me, fitted it this afternoon. Is a proper nightmare getting bit's for the avy engine, because it's so new no one stock's thing's like valve's and headgasket's and VW charge a fortune!!

cheer's for the welcome guy's!
