Just wondered if some of the people who've had the bottom part of the front splitter repainted to match the car could let me know how much they were charged...... If it was not done by yourselves obviously..... :)

Cheers

Cheers for the info guys.......... I'm gonna nip to the dealers tomorrow and get a quote off them..... I'm assuming they will need the car for a couple of days to do it.

I'll let ya know how much they say.

Cheers

Dealers will charge you a fortune. When i asked for my rear bumper to be resprayed thay wanted to chrge 3 times as much as it ended up costing me.

If you want the number of a good body shop in hillsborough, PM me!

£40 to get it painted, was colour matched to the car when I took the splitter in, local paint shop.

Fitted it myself

Went round to the body shop that Matt told me about yesterday....... They quoted me £40...... They did advise me not to have it done though as the guy said he could near enough guarantee it would chip and show the black through again...... I'm undecided now :?

I must admit i do 80% of my driving on motorways travelling to/from work so i may not bother with it seeing as there is a good chance it'll look a mess once i've been up/down the motorway a few times.

i say do it yourself, yeah spraying is hard to do but little things like splitters are easy enough done!
but cos it isnt metal you have to get that primer for flexible materials? correctt me if im wrong....

Polo silver, how did you manage to get those RS4 wheels for your car, I was after a set of them in 16 inch but I was told everywhere that they were 5 stud fitment? they look great

You do have to use a plastic additive in the the paint, I've had mine sprayed for over a year now and no scratches or chips have shown through to the original black splitter, all depends on how little paint they intend to use !!!

They are replica's with origional AUDI centre caps. 4 x 100 fitment, hard to get ive been told as mine are exactly the same as the real one. Alot of bad fakes out there. Only way u can tell mine aint real is that they are 17's and RS4's only come in 18's.

My dad has real RS4's on his audi and its impossible to tell the difference.
