well if ur on a tight budget, coilies are out of the equation
so, i would think -50mm springs from eibach, and a set of upgraded shocks would be ok, around £250 i would think.
as u have prob read the threads on lowering, standard shocks and lowered springs (project costing £120) will wear shocks out faster. not 100% sure if i want to do this now....

even so, i duno if -30mm would be ok?
i know ppl running -30mm and a few -60

on standard shocks..... student budgets suck
hope this helps (a bit)

That's more a matter of opinion. To be honest it depends on the colour of the car.
Have to admit i didn't notice the difference in the fron and rear windows of sweetinglooney in the pictures till sweetinglooney pointed out they were different.

My car is metallic blakc, does that help. Also, do you konw anywhere cheap in london to fit good quality tints?

they are different shades because its illegal to have too dark front tints (b pillar forwards) some ppl go for lighter tints at the back so it 'matches' the front

its down to personal taste really, and what look ur after
