Frustrations suitably vented!
Although I now have a huge hole in my carpet. Didn't think that one through, really.
Deek.
(I was only supposed to be working out where the gas pipe went!)

So, I've been well and truely done over by the "hole fairies".
Everything was going fine until I walked into the lounge this evening and discovered that the hole in the carpet has spread somewhat!
They'd gone through to the kitchen, too:
Not content with that amount of hole-making, I was somewhat taken aback by the state of the stairs:
Rushed upstairs hoping to find them still in the act, but all I found was an old, filthy, rug in the office - perhaps they were trying to hide the hole they'd made up here...
By the time I realised they'd even cleaned out the bedroom I began to accept that they'd made a clean getaway. Still, at least they left me a futon (but where's the rest of my furniture?!):
And, frankly, the prospect of entering the bathroom is scaring me:

(Well, actually to be picky, that's my driver's seat which I was rebuilding but the identical seat I got the foam from to rebuild it is downstairs and gets used for GT4 playing. In fact my friends fight over who gets the Rocco seat when they come over!
)
