I've just watched it too and all I can say is:
Awesome!

I saw it on the first screening (00:01 hour of the 19th), and it was great!
I also found out there are some weirdos in my city that founded the "Jedi Council of Minas Gerais" (Minas Gerais is my State). Turns out there are about 20 Jedi living among us here, and a couple of sith too, and they all flocked to see the film in the theatre where I was.
I shot a couple rolls* of film with them, and the added bonus of a local TV crew that had their reporter dressed up as a Jedi. At one time there were Jedis interviewing each other on Jedi TV. Madness.
I'll post the photos as soon as I get 'em back from the lab.
*The stuff we used to load our cameras with instead of memory cards. I recently broke my digicam and had to bring the old Nikon with me.

why does star wars bring out such geeky ness in people?
just below the surface star wars films are a take on the bible and there is very little effort for continuity between the films
(star wars buffs pick lots of holes in it)
i will be going to watch it, on the basis of it wont require me to engage my brain and will have loud noises, explosions and shooting things in it
(the matrix films annoyed me for much the same reasons)

I haven't seen it yet
I've been told all about it by colleagues here at work though, so now I
really want to see it! Maybe on Sunday...

I did post this in the other thread but for those who haven't seen it I went see it at the trafford centre on Wednesday night or early morning. They had lots of stormtroopers and a R2D2!
Thoroughly enjoyed the film even though I'm not a massive star wars fan. Here's some pics.

Aaargh
I'd go with you mate but its a bit of a treck for us one of us just to see a film!
Heard really good things about it tho. Maybe you shud go on your own. I'm sure there'll be plenty of other losers in London who go by themselves.

Just kidding mate.
Even resort to Lady friends if you have to.
