Hi All,
I ordered some coilovers a few weeks back, nothing has come through as yet but had a few questions to help me prep for the occassion...
1 do they arrive all maded up or would i need to make them up?
2 if i have to make them up...any tools on the recommended list?
3 would you recommend applying any form of grease to the threads for future precaution
4 anything recommendations for when i go about fitting these?

they will not be made up! the springs come seperate to the shock. you also need to buy front top mounts from VW and a big tube of copper slip or grease for the threads. stuff in the can is good!
you will need spring compressors, and i think a 20mm deep offset spanner (don't quote me on the size)
a good set of axal stands and trolly jack.
remember to put copper slip on your hubs before putting your wheel back on.

when i got my coilovers they were all made up
my girlfriends FK coilovers were also all made up
must depend on the brand of coilovers
as for protection, use castrol motorbike chain wax
i use it on mine and they are still in wicked condition after 2yrs
