Using the "BCB" throttle body....

Well everyone, i'm sure all you Gti folks might be interested in this...

I recently discovered that the e-throttle body from the latest Golf IV BCB engine is actually BIGGER than the Gti's, and i was seriously wondering if a direct swap is possible...

AFAIK the Polo Gti's TB is 53mm wide while the BCB's is at a whooping 60mm!!!

At my first attempt of asking the VW dealer about it, i was promptly declined due to "incompatibilities" between the 2 TB's but i am not so sure that is the case, rather than a crumpy VW dealer with no time on his hands..... :x :x

Anyways..Any of you guys have any access to VW data, or can inquire your dealers about such a swap??The main incomp. reason between the 2 might be the "connectors" as the dealer said to me, but i seriously doubt that...

Please do a check for me if you can...That would be A HELL OF AN UPGRADE if only it were possible...

Cheers
