Splitting and re-painting BBS wheels?

Hi
I’m going to re-spray my Polo GTi split rim BBS’s. Has anyone got any pointers with regards to splitting/re-assembling them? Taking them apart shouldn’t be a problem but re-assembly might be i.e., Is there a special order of bolt tightening and to what torque? –don’t want to over tighten and crack/buckle/de-thread them!
