1100 hed on 1300 engine???

i guess its stupid question , but i have a 88 1300 that could do with a unwarped head...any chance of me using this, as i noticed the gasket is listed for 1100/1300

well I'm currently useing a 1043 head on my 1300 enginge (mh code) and the engine seems prefectly happywith it, just change the cam over as they have differant profile's.HTH

sounds promising
any idea if the fact the ebay one is 199x and mine is a 88 will be an issue...will the manifolds and petrol pump fit

unfortunatley this one is of no use to you as it from an injection engine and has no fittings for a mechanical fuel pump(sorry I didn't check the link before my last post)

the mk3 1043cc head is also a "small valve" head. The inlet valves are iirc 4mm smaller in diameter when compared to any of the other small block engines of the time (including the mk2 1043 which has a normal sized valve head too)
