M@Turner,
Can't you see by his sig?
Beavis, what is the predicted output of your remap? and I assume it will be a chip?

Rang Revo and they said that the smaller capacity engines will soon get the Revo remap but it's not on the top of the list and that they are concentrating on the new turbo applications...have they forgotten that there are more or us smaller engined owners wanting more power? Surely there should be a bigger market for us?
Superchips said if it is a Bosch ECU they will be able to remap it, anything else e.g Siemens then unfortunately no...tried the KNS/Scottsmototune but their website looks down and the number I'm trying to ring doesn't accept incoming calls...odd that...

Would anybody be interested if I spoke to JBS about getting a group discount on Custom Code Phase One for the GTi?
I'm sure I could get a decent price if enough people went for it...

£250 was a good price for this chip! For 10 to 15 BHP £350 is not! See what you can do! I think they where taking the p*** a bit with the price for a non-turbo application.

The first stage map will just be that.. a remap of the stock car, the second stage will be a remap around cams and intake mods we will supply as a package. I'm not going to guess power outputs on the stage one remap, I'll confirm the figures after the cars has been RR'ed in a few weeks time. The maps take a while for us to refine before we release a finished product as we do all our R+D work for them on the road as opposed to sitting in a office following trends on static maps and just adding % increases to the fueling etc. like some companies do then charge a fortune for the pleasureof their not so clever maths.
I'll keep you posted on any figures we gather.
