Weird.

In most cases, if something sounds too good to believe, it usually is.

Anyone have a better guess?

definatly too good to be true.

two important words in that description 'up to'.

this probably means you wont see this sort of increase unless your cars got big power already

The links not working now, but I assume it is a resistor that you but in line with your temp sender to fool the car to advance igntion, big rip unlikely to give much of a gain a proper chip would only give that sort of increase on a turbo car!

I'd steer clear of any claims of such power increase for not a lot of money.

The was a whole web page talking about these iffy mods and how they can damage the engine, so can end up costing you a fortune in the end.

I mean, come on, £2.50!!! With free shipping!!!!!

Rather spend £2.50 on a sponge

AND in the event IT DOES do what it says on the box, this will use a lot more fuel. Think of it, why does a chip cost £200+.

You get what you pay for :!:

it's a resistor it tells your temp sensor it's colder then it actually is so it puts a bit of extrra fuel into the engine which will give about 1-2bhp my friend paul bought a resistor from maplins fror about 20p i think it was a 47k or 34k one he said his cars a bit more responsive :)

here a little discussion going on on my forum about them:)

hope to help from john.
