mk4 fk angel eyes

hey everyone.ive ordered a set of fk angel eyes for my mk4 today from rimstyle but just wondering if anyone has pics of there cars with them on and any fitting advice/tips etc.cheers..rich

ive seen a few pics of them before but would just like to see a few on peeps cars.do u have em on your polo mate,i think they are a spot on looking light ,cheers rich

:lol: They aren’t very straight forward! You need to cut the headlight surround.. below the slam panel to accept the light unit as the current hole is too small.

The wiring should be plug and play if your lights are 7 pin (electric headlight adjustment) but need some adapting if your lights are 4 pin... Either way it’s around 2 hours of fitting. A dremel would be invaluable!

I had a set from the fist batch and am in the process of sending them out as I have sold them… They do look good though! I just fancied a change!

the torque screw bolt thing underneith the headlamp housing is a pain to get off from my memory of changing a cracked headlamp lense last year

? I had no trouble - need to take the grill and surround off, but it just unscrews easily once that's done

i took the grill off
and surround

and then the one torque screw under the headlamp, i didnt have enough room to get at.

i did, by holding the headlight up and ramming the swine in

did consider taking off the front bumper though
lol

how much FK ones, venom do some for 125 including indicator lenses!

cheers everyone,ive gone for the chrome ones as apposed to the darker ones...its a black car and i thought it might have looked a bit much,,who knows..too late now anyway.they were about £190 with indicators and p+p which i thinks quite good.i think its a 7 pin as there not manual adjustment. thanks again..rich
