so heres my problem:(
My car would like just switch off while im driving, high speed or low..
doesnt happen that often but what happens is that it feels as if there is no petrol feed to wherever..coz the car radio and everything is still on,and if i try givin petrol it just gives a hollow sound!! now WTF!
Sometimes i jst keep on pumpin then the car goes again, but like today it switched off so i had to pull to da syd and kept pumpin gas and switching ingnition,eventually it started!
Anybody know wots up???
Ive changed my petrol filter but stil no smile...someone told me it could be the fuel pump?
please help...

ummmm, It sounds like it could be the fuel pump. When you turn the ignition on can you here the fuel pump click in. It isnt very loud but usually if you listen good then you should be able to hear it.

not sure...will check next time...
If it is the fuel pump, could that decrease your power output perhaps? Coz i think thats whats happenig aswel
