another wheel question

going to refurb my bbs wheels myself, after reading a few guides on here on how to do it. just wondered apart from getting the center spoked part powder coated is there any other way to coat them yourself ? ie any type of spray paints etc? many thanks

Sure you can paint them - but you need to......

- Shot blast em first to get good key

- Filler prime em so the surface is smooth

- Normal Primer to get the coat built up

- Two or three top coats more if you rub down between coats

- couple of coats of laquer to top it all off

Bottom line is you will still end up with a finish that chips easy and cost nearly as much to do a a decent powder coat

cheers buddy!! powder coat it is then. saying that what paint would you use on wheels?
