think the best thing to do is to go for coilovers!
trying to work out what the best are, noticed theres quite a few about. was going for the fk but recently read they corrode, you cant adjust them because of the thread being damamged. people say you have to spray them down now and then which i would do. but a lad had done 6000miles i think in a corsa sxi with fk coilovers and he treats his cars with alot of respect i can tell you. and thyre ment to be in real bad condition!

If it's gotta be springs i'd say go for Eibach or H&R, i don't know much about Apex but i'd be worried about a crashy ride.

Eibach and H&R u know are gonna be comfy even though they are low.

Thing is, i want 60mm and i dont seem to have much choice, i dont want coilovers due to the fact that the ride is f*****g like having no suspension at all! Any other suggestions? Say i was to get Sportline Eibach springs.. what shocks should i buy?

Monroe gas are good. I helped my mate fit a set of Eibach Sportlines and monroe gas to his Golf GTi last week and it brought it down nicely and the ride quality is amazing, u'd swear it was standard.

Hehe. My only worry is... i got Pro Springs on my old car @ a cost of £145 + £90 fitting and you couldnt even tell, it still needed atleast double again!

I know that if i settle for 30mm or something i will defo be disapointed!!

I'd go for the ones that drop it 45/50. IMO i'd say it's low enough, that height suits the 15" whels perfect, any lower tends to dwarf the wheels. Thst's the height i'm going for.
