You can also buy speaker pods for the doors by Audioscape.

If your accelerator is sticking then your brst bet is to get a new one (About £10 from euro car parts). Other people who want large speakers usually put them in the doors, but obviously custom doorbuilds are required. Somewhere makes and sell some for £££.

sticking accelerator - tried WD40 on the cable and throttle butterfly?
only prob ive had of that nature is when it worked loose from the mounting near the throttle (and so got slower and slower til only idle was left), maybe you need to check for this as well?
speakers...... either
stick em in the back - there's cutouts in the plasticky bit which the seatbelt comes out of for.... 4x6"s??
stick em in the back, in a stealth-shelf
put em in the front in a doorpod
or buy specialist 8cm replacements... they're not particularly expense, just harder to track down. I got JBLs that were pretty sweet, in that size...
welcome, and good luck!

welcome 2 the forum! ive got custom door pods on my GT for speakers but i bought them off some1 so coodnt really advise on how 2 make them. As for Audioscape, their door pods look good but cost £180 for the set.
