firstly hi to every one new here and to the polo
ok my locking seems to have buggered up i have to press the button about 6-7 times before the doors will open being a 5-dr to open all doors but only once to lock as it seems to lock fine could this be the pump in the boot

Don't want to point out the obvious but have you tried changing the battery? Could this be on the way out?

ok just tryed the other key does the same i will get a battery tomoz an try that but if you unlock it with the key shouldnt all the doors open as only the driver will open

p.s just remmembered you know the button on the drivers door for openning the doors etc it also does it with that you have to press that several times also

hmm odd, check all the electrical connections are sounds and not loose or something, same with the air pipes and check the central locking pump in the boot is okay too, same checks

perhaps check fuses too

try battery to eliminate that, but as you say, the internal controls should still work first time, perhaps pop that out the door card and check the electrical connections there too

cental locking pump i think ordered 1 so should be fixed soon cheers guys for your help.
