anyone seen the tope gear for this month - 1.4 tdisport polo vs. mini d and seat ibiza tdi.
If you look closely you'll notice chrome dials and info centre on dash like passat!! Has anyone else got these on new models??

What engine TDI are they testing in the Ibiza? 100bhp or 130?

If it has Sat Nav then there's your explanation.

Yeah I notices the same thing on local models. If the car is equipped with SatNav, then you get chrome surround dials.

I just bought Top Gear to have a read and boy did it annoy me!
They put for the specs of the 1.4 TDI as it having 177 lb ft, WRONG! It's 144 lb ft, the other figure is for the 1.9TDI.
They also said that the TDI Sport doesn't get alloys as standard, wrong again, it does, the 15", their car had the 16" wheels.
Also noticed they say in the list as having no cassette and traction as standard.
Just wish they would get it right.
toXXin - It's the 130bhp Ibiza they have/are testing.

Do you guys think the outcome may have been different if they had tested the 1.9 Polo?

I think there would have been a difference, as between the two there is a BIG difference not suspension but engine and the way it pulls etc
