I am looking to buy a gti polo,any advice on what to pay,and what to look out for, thanks

between 4800 and 5500 i would say depending on spec i.e some have leather, heated seats etc

thanks keep info coming seems the pedal box is a bit dodgy,the hunt for a decent one goes on,would like leather does this effect the price much

Depends really, some that have leather will be a fair bit some won't, but then they're not very easy to find with leather. In the 3 months I was looking I found about 3 (in silver anyway)

Electric windows/mirrors/sunroof, Climate Control, 6CD Changer, 1 Year Warranty, 1 Year breakdown cover, Full service/multipoint check, Full VW Service History, I think that's it, can't remember.

i bought mine privately for 5,400, 51plate 21k, flash red, cloth, climate, sunroof

I payed Â£4,700... 2001 Silver, Climate, 1 Owner from New, HPI clear, cloth...

1. Diamond Black Pearlescent

2. Reflex Silver

3. Flash Red

Some of the earlier silver cars are Satin Silver, which looks slightly different? No grey or blue ones I'm afraid

ye they are harder to find with leather and the price will reflect on that as well.

Im currently selling mine its Reflex silver completely original x plate 2000 55,000 on the clock in mint condition no scratches or dents with all the extra's like climate, 6cd, Xenons, red selt belts. Its got vw service history, the pedal box was changed at 30k the gear selection is perfect in mine just had cambelt and tensioners changed at 50k. near new tires, new brakes pads all round. It runs like a dream and looks superb. Im only selling due to a job change. Im becoming an field engineer which gets me a nice (yeah right

) peagot 307 estate to carry all my kit around so she's gotta go. Im the second owner, she is my pride and joy.
