VW w8 light into 9n??

Does anybody know if the w8 cockpit light fits into the 9n's??? I know it does on a mk4 golf, and after seeing it on a mk4 moders web page the polo 9n light looks very similer in shape to the golfs.........Can anybody help??

Yeah it does with a little modification. Mine never sat entirely flush in my 1.2 however others have said it sat flush in theirs. You obviously have to do the wiring part of it but just follow the guide in the DIY section (which is a Mk4 Polo I know but it's the wiring guide you're looking for).
Also if you'd used the "search function" you'd have found out too

This really depends which model you have, my 52 plate Sport had the larger style light panel, which mean't the W8 light would not fit.

I meant to include that too but as poloracer had said that the light in his polo was similar to the W8 one i assumed it wasn't the larg light.
