have seen a g40 for sale not too far away from me with some sort of engine misfire for around £800. car has 16s  and a couple of toher mods to it.would probably end up breaking it if i couldn't sort the misfire out.

or do i spend that £800 on my current g?
(bodywork,momo wheel,oil cooler,new exhaust,etc)

what would you do ??

personally id spen the £££ on your own G, altho if u got the other 1 for £800 & sorted it out cheap then your onto a winner. Not much help i no.

I'd say stick with yours. Two could cripple you. Unless you fancied saving the other one, and putting it back to standard, then selling it on.

I've sort of been there done that. the sensible option would be to sell your g40 and buy one fully modded up with the extra money, it might save you if you plan to go down that route.

when faced with the same dilema I bought another G and it is crippling, I wish I kept one of them though, I guess the wrong one sold first.

Also depends on whether it is your main car or your sendond, third or even forth car.

at one point I had the golf, 2 g40's 2 mk3 saloons and my g/f's 9n. now I've sold the 2 g40's things are a bit easier, stoopid me though picking up a loop tommorow  i never learn.

personally in your situation I would forget about the other g40, dont you already have a golf and a gt? spen whatever you need to to get one of them up and running, then sell it (creating more space) then the money you get from that spend on your G! or a nice holiday or something.

im not buying it to use straight away. currently have my white g40 which i use every day (is fairly modified allready  )sellin this is not an option 8)

the gti golf is long off being finished, and just finishing the gt for my dad. have plenty of space to keep this g should i get it.

spend the money on your own car....

...from what I here there are a few people who are thinking of buying that car.
