I thought that 6N2 rallycar was based on a GTi, for the Super 1600 class? I know there was a TDi one though as part of a national championship.
Love the wide-arch kit on that thing, reckon it would look amazing on a road-going GTi.

Pretty good gallery of the Super 1600 6N2 here

Remember seeing a VW Racing pdf file ages ago with all the parts etc. for the Super 1600 car, which included the wide-arch kit.

Been searching like mad, just cannot find it. Thing is I've been through two hard-drives in the past 6months so there's a very good chance I've lost it.
I'll have a look on t'internet and see if I can track it down.

Yeah I certainly remember seeing that one for the Group N Polo GTi.
But from reading it, the Group N used the standard bodyshell, not the wide-arch kit. Bugger.
