Polo MK3 Oil And Amount

hey
on the polo 1.0cl how many litres of oil goes in with a new oil filter on, as its such a dinky engine
and what grade eg 10-40 ?

i think we used the quantum semi sinthetic stuff when we changed mine! (get it from vw, its the stuff in the silver bottle)
if i remember correctly, the haynes manual says how much, but we questioned it because it says the g40 takes less oil than any of the other models! which is wierd when you are running oil around the charger as well as the rest of the car!
my advise, fill up bit by bit, we know its 3 litres roughly, but make sure you don't overfill!
