I have just purchased a nice set of RH cups for my other halfs mk4 and I now need a lowering kit. The tyres are 195/50/15 so will a 40mm be ok or will it rub?

40mm should be fine, ideally you should have 195/45's, but I reckon it will be alright.

Ive lowered mine 60mm on 195/55/15's and it doesn't rub at all, even at full lock. Its close but it doesn't rub.
