Hi all,
I am new to owning a Polo GTI and just wandering if anyone knows if 5th gear should be showing 4000 RPM when I am cruising at 80mph? For me, it seems it's running a bit high. I must mention that I have had a brand new gearbox fitted from VW. Please can someone rsolve my concern with this?
Overall, I am really loving the new driving experience this car is giving me!!!

You can feel it move when you turn off, as far as I am aware it's fine, mine does the same.

Thanks for that matey!!! I hope that you are right, but somehow it still feels that the polo should not be doing this though? I am thinking maybe it needs a bit of a tune up................but if u are saying that this is normal, then at least i am not hte only one experienciong this? Unless, any one has anything to add about this subject?
