Can anyone tell me how much a 60k and 70k service will set me back, also what needs changing i know the timing belt needs changing but what else

Mine went to VW for its 60k they said the timming belt didnt NEED doing till 80k but i told them to do it anyways, that alone costs £260ish

Then oil and filter change etc, prolly £350 overall.

I reccomend not using the dealers, I had to for a year or so when I had a company car and VW are the worst ever. I've tried 3 different VW garages, and cock-ups they made range from overfilling the engine oil to taking the car in and not having the parts to blowing my passenger side speaker.

My next service is gonna be at a VW specialists, i'd do it myself but the stamp is pretty handy at resale time.

thanks for the info mate, ive buying the timing belt kit and water pump from vw for 160 and a local garage is fitting it and servicing the car for 185 lot cheaper than vw price anyway

How much did this end up costing because im gunna have to get it done soon!
