Hi,
First off, they are a striaght swap for standard alloys on a MK5 non gti?
4 x 15"
2nd if alloys have been fully refurbished including powder coating, does this mean they won't flake like normal in the future?
and also how much would a set be worth like this, with tyres?
Thanks!

Hey Inder,
I assume the wheels should be a straight swap as they share the same PCD (4 x 100) and I'm sure the ET shouldn't be a problem, I know some users that have swapped them over from their standard rims so should it is possible.
As for the refurbishment, it depends, the original wheels had the centres podwercoated and the rim diamond cut. The finish of the rims was mainly the cause of the flaking and the corrosion as the diamond cutting would not allow the lacquer to adhere properly allowing water to seep through between the lacquer and the metal. If the wheel has been powdercoating including the rim then I would expect corrosion shouldn't be a problem.
As for pricing, I sold my original wheels in a okay state, some corrosion but not as extensive as on some of the wheels I've seen for £250 with tyres that a couple needed to be replaced. As for a good set, one that I know of sold for as much as £450...if you get a set that is in a poor state be expecting to pay an extra £200 and upwards to have them refurbished...
Hope this helps.
