Replacing (lowering) Mk3 suspension

Will be lowering the car soon, and think I have decided on this kit:
http://www.awesome-gti.co.uk/vw%20polom ... nsion.html
Basically, what I want to ask is.
What else should we replace while we're down there? - Items that will most likely have perished and could do with a replacement or upgrade, etc.
List of replacements to be made -
- Bump stops (included in kit, but have been told just to buy standard new VAG ones)
TCA bushes
ARB mounts
Top mounts
Wheel bearings (none on the car are even a year old, just been replaced, so no point)
Dust covers (a given) - but can you use standard ones on a lowered set-up?
All washers/nuts/bolts obviously
Anything else, any other information or advice will be appreciated.
Thanks
yes

hello m8, i done exactly wat ur doing last week
i even bought my suspension from the same place along with the bushes n springs but it took over 6 weeks to arrive!
u need 4 dust covers yes the standard ones fit also u need 4 rear top mounts not 2 (just picked up my dust covers about 20 mins ago )
as they r the same but 4 are used i dont know why (little rubber ring)
also a problem i had was the inner wishbone bushes from powerflex didnt fit so i still have my old crappy ones in there, and if u want new ones u have to buy the whole wishbone just for the bush 50 quid for both
another problem i had was my TCA's didnt fit so im using my old setup.
after it was installed the diffrence it made is simply amazing, i can corner like a go kart (on standard 13's wheels) and my braking distance has been dramitically reduced, although 2 of my shox were blown!
hope this helps

some thing i totally forgot to add was, there is a small silver like washer that u place over the suspension arm (near top mount), for some stupid reason they dont fit so we had to make the hole bigger to put it on.
i really must admit i wernt impressed with the way the rear springs sit so high. also they dont look nothing like the ones in the pic
but the performance is spot on 100%

You have to give time for the new springs to settle down. So if you're not carrying weight in the back all the time it'll take longer than the fronts, ya dig, shiz?
no wonder
