Unlucky mate, me and my dad weren't gaving a lot of luck earlier either, first off, the woman in front of me had to slam her brakes on because someone stupidly pulled out of a junction infront of her, all I can say is thank god I have ABS, was just inches from her car!
Then on the M1 someone drifted infront of me and my dad in his car at about 80mph, cue the brakes (and ABS again) as well as a few hand signals for good measure, then a van pulled infront of us for no reason whatsoever (he was in the fast lane and decided he was going to try and wipe us out)

@M-Madness - Those few close calls were just testing your awareness, no harm done

because funnily enough people come onto the roundabout from your left........... and are supposed to give way to their right, this time however, the lady in question didnt give way and drove straight into me.
plus if you think about it, the right side of your caris protected by the roundabout itself.

And I'm glad at that mate I tell ya, especially because I was on my way to the bodyshop to get my bumper smoothed, nearly ended up needing more that that

The other 2 close calls were with my dad driving his car (he followed me down then bought me back home)

The road's full of idiocy today ... good job you were in a strong motor

particularly as you diced it with a volvo
Seen only my second or third 999-attended accident today as well (rubbernecking, it was long-finished on the opposite carriageway... some numpty in a new beetle that had smacked the queue in front hard enough to bend the engine bay quite badly) and there's been other barely-dodgable stupidity elsewhere 'n' all.
Wonder if its some kind of monthly thing?
Not to mention the git in the Saab who would have T-boned me if i hadnt knee-jerked foot to the floor and a tyre squealing yank of the wheel when turning right out of a side road... protected, or so i thought, by a Cooper turning into the road i was leaving, numb nuts however thinks it's smart to unleash his full swedish turbocharged fury as soon as his bumper's clear of the mini........... jeez.... he didn't even lift off at all, could hear it whooshing away with no suggestion of wastegate all the way past and out of earshot

There's some real muppets about Tahrey, I agree there, like I say I'm just glad the Polo has ABS and my Dads Audi has ABS or I don't know what would have happened especially because mine was just before a dual carriageway and dads was on the M1!!!
