i was only quoted 400 odd a couple of months ago for a new clutch from the same dealer?

i dont want another s**t clutch

ive heard good things about the sachs clutch? can some one tell me the diff between this and the standard vag one?

also where can i get one and how much are they fitted?

thanks alot

much appriciated

I've had a sachs vlutch fitted for over a year now and its so much better than the original which i was told would be a 'reconditioned spanish piece of crap' (valeo parts)

its no heavier than the original and still feels just a sharp as the day i got it....

i as quoted £550 by the stealers and got it done for £310 by my local VW specialist.

- i got my sachs clutch fitted a while back for about £240 all in - but that was from a mate who owns his own garage - so i reckon' you've got a good deal there. Go for it - its like having a new car (thats if you had all the stiff clutch/pedal box probs i did)
