It says:
In the left door switch look for the wires of the window motor.
Find the one that is positive when regulating the window and cut it. Attach green from module to wire from motor and yellow to the wire going to the switch. Do the same with the other window motor wire Brown to motor Grey to switch.
Similar sequence also for right hand switch.
It also asks to connect black to earth and white to alarm.
On the diagram it show a RED wire to connect to a positive battery source with a 30amp in line fuse. Is there anywhere inside giving that amount of power that I can tap into?
Thanks, Mo

For the +12v wire, i beleive that is probably best to splice into the electric window +12v, this is a thick red wire and you can use either door, probably better to use passenger door.

AKs_SlickPolo, would that +12v thick red wire for the electric windows be active when the ignition is off? As the module needs to power the windows when the car is locked up.
Also anyone know which colour wires from the back of the window switches directly supply power to the motors for closing operation?
Cheers, Mo

yep cos thats constant live, make sure its the thick red one. As for the electric window switch wires, get yourself a haynes manual as it has it all in there

Not 30amps, no fuse inside the fuse box is rated at that (or I don't think it is). You'll have to bring a wire direct from the battery through the bulkhead. It's an easy job - see my DIY amp installation guide.

fitting the closure module to a mk4 aint a simple job if u aint done it b4...
sounds like ur module only switches one wire to live, so u need a couple of 5 pin changeover relays to do the earth as it is not fixed
check porka.net in the tech section for a post about this...long explanations are there
