Hi guys
Just thought id introduce myself, im in Somerset and will become the proud owner of a 2001 Y Polo GTi this coming thursday! I must say i can't blooming wait, from reading the topics on here so far it seems like a great little car.
Seemed to drive really well and felt great on the test drive so im counting the hours until i get behind the steering wheel for real!!

Hi my Name is Ree From London I too am a proud owner of a Black 5dr GTi.

Just purchased on Monday X reg 32,000 excellant mint condition from a dealer.

I use to own a mk4 5dr dragon green polo, i actualy miss that was brilliant handle as it was lowered.

I have only driven my GTi twice so far, will get the wheels rolling 2mo.

One thing I have notice will call VW care in the morning, is that on idle even after warm up the engine juggers like some small thumps. Someone stated it must be the timing any1 have any ideas.

I cant mod me car becoz of the VW warrentee, they even said upgrading alarm or head unit will invalidate it, o well suppose I have to wait.
