Camber and tracking!!!! Help

I've dropped my car about 65mm on Coilovers and now need to get my camber and tracking done. However, the garage i took my car too, to have it done say they can't do it. They said that they wouldn't be able to get a reading from the laser due to the front splitter and the splash tray that protects the engine!!!! They said if i could remove these before i take it down they'll do it.
Is this correct or are they been stupid. None of you guys who have gone lower than me have ever mentioned a problem.
What can i do. I've had a little look at removing the parts but am unable to do so. Would have thought, due to them have a ramp, they'd easily be able to do this!!!!
Can't believe it!

got mine done at a big specilist place. If you know anybody else with a lowered car in your area ask them where they had it done.

The camber isn't adjustable on this car, the only way you can 'adjust it' is accidentally by driving up a kerb.
You can adjust the tracking, but make sure they do both ends, lazy buggers sometimes only do one end. But it will only really be right the way it was designed.

I don't think you are right there......
There is always the facility to adjust the camber (on two bolt shock to hub fixings) thats why there is a slotted section at the top bolt and a fixed hole underneath so you can adjust the camber

The book says its not adjustable. So I wrote those words in the forum. If you can adjust it great.
Yes, on some cars its an eccentric cam bolt head arrangement, which you slacken and turn round. You certainly cannot adjust it on mine, but ESP equipped cars have a funny arrangement, even lowering it could result interesting driving, because obviously buggers it up if you alter the way the suspension works.
You shouldn't need to adjust the camber anyway, they stay roughly parallel don't they these days?

If you change your shocks you will need to have your camber redone, unless you managed to fit the shock in the exact position as last time (we're talking tenths of a mm here, so chances are slim). Where the shock joins the hub there are two bolts, and it is adjusted here. If these are undone (which they obviously will be to fit coilovers) then the camber will need adjusting. I just fitted mine and it drives fine so i shant bother, all it really detemins is tyre wear anyway.

As he says ^ You can deffinatly adjust the camber with the two bolts. Look at the pic in my post 'coilovers on' at how bad it was before i got it sorted.

Thanks for the replies guys.
Does any of you know how to remove the splash panel and front splitter as if i can do this then i'll be able to get things sorted. The place i'd take it to use lasers to get the measurements spot on!
As for camber not making a difference, i believe that is incorrect. Mine isn't overly noticeable that they aren't correct, but when i'm turning corners it just doesn't feel right.

Is it just clipped on?
The misses usually removes it on a corsa just by parking it, she's good at doing things that can't be done, like reverse at 40mph (forward).

The front splitter is a pain in the arse to remove with the bumper off, so i'd have thought its a right pain to do attatched to the car. Especially a low one! Take the bumper off, it only takes 10 minutes. I don't know what you mean by splash guard, is it under the engine? If so I haven't got one!

Splash gaurd is like a tray under the engine that prtoects the engine from stones and general rubbish on the road. From what i can see, that looks like it just slides into place.
Why can't things just be a simple bolt on/bolt off like the "old days"

My car now vibrates over 100mph, which is very f*****g annoying. Not sure what i need to have done... only occured when i changed wheels, not lowered. Any suggestions?

could also be that the tyre is not mounted correctly. Either way you should go to whom you got them off and whinge.

Yeh im gunna get it sorted out asap, just been busy and there are no close garages to me that are on my trusted list.
Apparently its because i dont have these spring (spigot) things that centre the wheels? Are they expensive?
