Treat Yourself

Just wanted to start a post about treating yourself once in a while, I went out today and bought a region free dvd player (as it was only £29.99 in Argos) then found out that my tele didn't support NTSC dvd's (well it did but played them in black and white) so I sorted that out by buying a 17" Goodmans LCD tele

.
Anyone else treated themselves recently?

Recently bought a set of alloys,,,
Need to buy a few ps2 games as they're all coming out at once (keep myself out of trouble that way)
I seem to have an obsession with designer clothes?? Need to cut down on that stuff
Seem to treat myself a bit too often..... but if I dont...who will....lol

My most recent acquisition is a Dell 2005FPW monitor for my home PC, looks like:
And as you might have guessed by the model name and the image it's a 20" widescreen flat panel. I was well chuffed with it until.. one of my colleagues at work has gone and got a 32" flat panel widescreen Samsung TV which is HDTV capable and has Freeview built in! Git! Still chuffed with my panel, just now I want a new TV too
Bit stretched for cash now for 7 days

then I get paid again

I bought myself a laptop from eBay, I thought that would be a nice little treat.. but the bastard has scammed me and I'm down £460 - two months wages behind the deli at waitrose

I'm not going to lie down and let that one go I can tell you..
So to lift my mood I've just ordered the complete series 1-8 dvd's of red dwarf, that should keep me happy for a while

nothing much recently. been DIY-ing the new house so got to figure out how much cash I have left!
the most recent purchase was a couple of MAMOD steam engines off ebay. proper kid's toys - where you can get burnt like hell and there's no-one to sue
sad, i know!

Boy, I can't remember the last time I treated myself! Must be the iPod a bought a while back now...planning of purchasing my first home so will be treating myself a plenty once it goes through...LCD widescreen TV...and then sadly a fridge/freezer, washing machine, table, chairs, sofas, beds...boring!

Recently treated myself to an extremely overpriced but absurdly good-looking Sony LCD monitor (HS-75P/B). Will be paying for it for a few months though.
Now I'm deciding between a new iPod nano or a used but still great looking Toshiba portégé 2000 laptop (that ultra-thin laptop that didn't have room for a DVD drive...).
I'm leaning toward the Portégé, old(ish) technology but costing almost as much as the iPod (plus it's a lot more functional).
