I'd recommend you go for an hour drive or so outside london to get your tints. I've been put of slightly (so will get it done later) as average price I've been quoted is about £250.
You can get cheaper but its light smoke tint which is nothing really.

Ha ha ha, what with all this interest in tinting all of a sudden, I've seen and replied to three I think in the past few days.

I got mine done in London, there is a forum member, call Tinter who does group visits/buys in London, the one I went to was at Whitechapel/Algate and charges £150 for a three door, hes' done quite a few members on here and everyone has only good things to say. Send him a pm...be patient though as I don't think he always checks his pms.

no sorry, they got light smoke, mid smoke, dark smoke and limo black. They take the door cards off and put it on properly. Takes about 3 hours but if there is a sligth imperfection they take the whole thing off and start again.

Sorry again, I'm not sure what brand they use but apparently good quality tints are ones where you don't notice that they are tinted when sat inside the car...the one Tinter used must be pretty damn good as my friend asked if I ever got round to tinting them...I said yes...she didn't even notice and thought that as they were tinted she could then pull funny faces out of the windows and other drivers wouldn't notice...I so could have been sooooo evil! ha ha ha!

Tinters, good, he doesn't need to remove the door cards = less damage I guess and also I've had my rear replaced once already as there was a slight imperfection also...he guarantees his work for a year...

If you dont mind a little bit of a drive to down my way (portsmouth, Hampshire) theres a guy that does tinting... guarenteed for the rest of his life. If you get any problems you can just take it back and he'll re-do it for free.
And very competitive... my bf used to have a 306, and it cost £130 for 5 windows... Does a very good job of it... and is confindent of it, hence the lifetime guarentee!

emailed the tinter guy, but he says that he dont come down very often any more :(

laura_fairy_22 thats a good price, its just that its pretty expensive to travel that far, seeing as its gonna cost me like 50£ petrol to get there and bak it'll just work out to be london price.

Giorgio wheres this place in Wood Green? - how decent is it, dont wana end up with bubbly tints, nasty!

arghhhhh i neeed tints!!!
