:(

Front passenger tire blew, had to drive on it for 15 mins was on a motorway. :?

Was so worried about my alloy, looks absolute fine not a single scratch, mark or dent.

However some said make sure there not buckled.....

Maybe a silly question how do I check for this and how can I check the wheel is fine.

To look at it seems absolutely fine :?:

you drove for 15min? why?

i'm guessing an alloy repairers will be able to tell you definittavely, but if it looks okay - its gotta come off anyway so give it a good check i guess.

Ouch, blowouts on the motorway are NOT nice!

Once the tyre's off, any damage will be visable.

Also when they come to balance it, you'll know if it's buckled!

O well all is fine now, they check the alloy no probs to it at all. The area wear it pop was the side wall, dont ask me how, but this left the main part of the tire fine.

Apprantly this is why there wasnt any damage to the alloy.

That's why I don't like parking close to the kurb! If it doesn't scratch your rim it'll take a chuck out of the sidewall!
