hey cheers for the commets guys. nice to see your still using A forums kris, a mk2 local meet is needed!

hey matt, the car is an '83 it has the spi as i managed to find a decent engined one for cheap, shuld make it easier when i find a 1.3 or GT

... as for your post should you do another one i think you shoyuld as it was your car from the porka forum 2 years ago tha inspired me to create this monster.. as for future plans ive mentioned the engine, my set of 7X13's so maybe someone could advise me of some styles? i like the old skool look with streched rubber:) i also wana get a new lowering kit as the one on it has seems a little lose now. im thinking about flushing the boot as ive done both the bumpers but i wouldnt bother doing the plate recess as the number plate recess on the front was alot of hours work. I'll prob chuck one of those headlight uprade looms in with some better bulbs just so i can see where i am going but i must say my lights are already brighter since i changed to the mk 3 loom. ill get more pics up after christmas

so what happened to that coupe matt? did it get sold on.. i always liked what you did on the boot

.as for the engine, what sorta mileage has it done as i dont wana chuck any old thing in it..no offence its just the way you said in the way

. but so long as its tidy and comes with a 5 speed? im guessing someones got the box off it.PM me some details about it could be inerested to rebuild it on a bench. what power can i look to get outta the 1.3? and could i gt it up..alhough saying all this my 1.0 is pulling bloody well now.

cheers mate smooth and unique is the way for me! that spoiler is kamei and meant for a mk 1 but i just had to have it with the indicator units as brake lights... thats just genius! as u say the pictures dont justify the car really but the bodywork hasnt a mark on it. Glad you like the seats ive had a few cheesy comments on them but personaly i love 'em :lol .
I leff my lights on after a night shift last night and the attery still turned it over at 4PM today. where as the old starter motor jus would have refused with that much battery

Matt whats this 1.3 you mentioned?

as you said in members rides, i think your car would look great with a black grill...
p.s was the lights mod a straight swap or was it tons of work?

i'd say it looks better with the black grill in my personal opinion!
