Hi there,

I'm thinking of smoothing my front and rear bumpers, but before I do it, I'd like to see yours to have some references

Also, how much did you pay for the job (smoothing + spraying)?
For how many miles/km's do you have them smoothed? Didn't it appear cracks on the smoothed zones after some time?

Cheers

How much did you pay for the job? Did you use welded plastic or fiber glass?

Cheers

I think I paid £586 GBP, which to some people is expensive but I don't mind. Not too sure how it was done though, I just took it to the bodyshop and picked it up when it was ready.

Front only, that was to have the rubstrip removed and smoothed, splitter de-textured and sprayed, then smoothed into the bumper, and for the whole bumper to be perfected (all chips and scrathes etc sorted) and sprayed.

that is VERY EXPENSIVE, and i mean very. i paid £400 for front and back to be smoothed. they plastic welded the recess that the bump strips left, filled then smoothed them over. been abot 2000 miles since ive had them done, and not one single problem with it. pics are available on request.
