still looking for water leaks in the polo

so far have changed the seals for the doors including the boot seal. cleaned and checked the sunroof seal, but water is still soaking the passenger and driver footwell :x

the wife recons that she can feel a cold draught on her left leg when she is sitting in the passenger seat but so far I cant find anything.

any suggestions at this point would be welcome before I rip the interior out and mastic the whole bloody car :!:

have u checked the scuttle tray, especially under the battery? water can get trapped & ends up rusting thru.

i'd try removing the front section of the carpet etc and get a mate to cover the car in water with the hosepipe/watering can while your inside looking for where the leak comes from

cheers guys both answers sound advice and will do so very shortly one additional question though, if there is water under the battery tray, what is the best or tried & tested way of preventing this from happening in the future?

if you have got holes under the battery/fuse area, then just treat the rust and the fill the hole, then just hope it clears up. you can also bodge some kindof guttering setup to re-direct any water away from those areas.
